Important state officials include Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, as well as the Chairs, Vice Chairs, and other members of these committees: Senate Committee on Business & Commerce and the House Committee on Business and Industry. Many of these elected officials have, in the past, played important roles to help homeowners, and some have been less than helpful.
